What I care about

I took college-level computer design classes while I was still in high school, and kept building on my own after the coursework ran out. I am eighteen, currently on a gap year, and working remotely as I travel — Japan, Korea and Thailand so far. Being in a bilingual environment every day is where most of my work now comes from.

I teach English to kids in Taiwan, which is where I learned what a small business site actually needs: plain pricing, an obvious next step, and a booking link in the app people already have open. I also run my own tutoring site, so I have been the client as well as the developer — I know what it feels like to wait on someone else for a change that should take five minutes.

“A site earns its keep by being fast on a cheap phone, readable in both languages, and easy to change after I hand it over.”

I play guitar 🎸 badly enough to enjoy it and often enough to be slowly getting better 🎶

Skating is how I learned that landing something takes about forty tries 🛹 which turns out to apply to most things 💨

Mostly sites for small businesses and independent teachers, studios and services — the kind where the goal is a booking, a message or a phone call. That covers design, build, copy support and the booking integration, plus landing pages and one-off interactive work.

Yes, and it is most of what I do. I build English and Traditional Chinese side by side rather than bolting a translation on at the end, so both versions get the same layout care and neither reads like an afterthought.

Yes. I have wired up scheduling tools that show live availability, and booking flows that hand off to LINE or WhatsApp when that is where your customers already are. I will recommend whichever your customers will actually use, not whichever is fanciest.

You get the code, a written handover, and a walkthrough of anything you will want to change yourself. I am available for updates after that, but the goal is that small edits never require me.

Fair question. Judge the work: the sites in my portfolio are live, bilingual, and built by me end to end, and one of them is my own business that I depend on. I would rather be hired on what I have shipped than on how long I have been shipping it.

Yes. I work remotely and I am currently travelling, so I am used to overlapping time zones and asynchronous updates. I will tell you up front which hours I am reliably reachable.
